Fabrication Process

The fabrication process of The Balvenie Tun 1509 begins with the careful selection of aged single malts from various oak casks that have been maturing at The Balvenie Distillery. After distillation, the spirit is aged in separate casks, which may include American oak and European oak, depending on the desired flavor influence.
