The Martini & Rossi distillery traces its origins back to 1863, when Alessandro Martini, a wine merchant, and Luigi Rossi, a master blender, established the company in Turin, Italy. Initially named Distilleria Nazionale di Spirito di Vino, the venture began as a producer of vermouth and unique aperitifs, aiming to capture the spirit of Italian culture and conviviality.
