The roots of Clarendon Distillery can be traced back to the establishment of the Monymusk Sugar Estate in the 18th century, with the distillery itself being formally founded in 1949. Clarendon Distillery is strategically located in Lionel Town, southern Jamaica, amidst the lush landscapes of the Monymusk Estate which comprises six acres of fertile land rich in sugarcane cultivation.
